Craig Bay

9 x 12 watercolour on 74# Yupo synthetic paper

The community and resorts of Parksville have wonderfully broad sandy beaches. On a low tide, they stretch out to the horizon and leave stranded, many shallow pools that warm to the temperature of bath water—a delight for swimmers and shoreline waders! Distant billowing clouds, which bank up against the mainland’s mountains, can easily be mistaken for offshore surf.
