Snowdrops, Hope for Spring

During recent walks in my Cowichan Valley neighbourhood, I’ve been enjoying seeing the abundance of January snowdrops and thought, why not paint this subject and do it in watercolours to work more quickly. I always enjoy watercolour painting; it’s a restful break from my larger acrylics and, lately, oils.
